It’s difficult to be a pastry chef and make the decision not to use any nuts or nut-products. While we considered becoming a nut-free bakery, we became too sad at the thought of not being able to make some of our most popular items, such as our linzer heart cookies, our cinnamon rugelach & our biscotti. We follow strict policies regarding cross-contamination when baking with nuts and nut products, but caution anyone with a nut, wheat or food allergy to make the best decision for themselves.
Everything we make is all natural & preservative free, and needs a little extra TLC to ensure the best sugar experience. While we are fairly certain that you won’t have any leftovers, most goodies are best eaten within 3-5 days of the sell-by date listed on the packaging if stored correctly.
For the best eating experience:
Store at room temperature in an air-tight container.
Store in the refrigerator. For best results, remove buttercream filled & frosted cupcakes from the refrigerator at least two to three hours before you plan on indulging in them. There’s nothing worse than cold buttercream!
My kids happen to love our whoopie pies frozen, but for the typical whoopie consumer, we recommend storing whoopie pies in the refrigerator until one hour before you’re ready to indulge.
